In between thunderstorms we took a swim in The New River beneath the famed bridge.
Today I played hooky for the cabins to help a friend finish cleaning up after the big storm that hit the new river gorge area nocking out power for over a week.
The Boone Gladiola is a new addition to the flower beds at our cabins here in the New River Gorge of West Virginia. The only know apricot colored flower.
Fall colors? Seems a little early To see this on the crystal clear waters of Summersville Lake in beautiful southern West Virginia.
This is just what we needed some gentle rain showers to perk up the gardens and the white water in the new river gorge.
Do you see what Ossum sees/smells? Could the Nee River Gorge be the new home of a big footed creature?

O Snap! This tree is to big to hug and have my hands meet. The storm that hit the New River Gorge area last Friday left a lasting impression and some wood for us to turn into furniture. Still no power to our cabins.
